Course details
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is one of the world’s most popular and trusted English proficiency tests, widely recognized by universities, employers, and governments in English-speaking countries. Designed to assess the language skills of individuals looking to study, work, or migrate to these countries, IELTS evaluates four key areas: Speaking, Writing, Listening, and Reading.
Eligibility
This course is for individuals aged 16 and above planning to migrate, study, or work in English-speaking countries and improve language proficiency for academic or professional purposes.
Duration
The IELTS preparation course lasts for 1 month, covering 60 hours of intensive training. Classes are scheduled on weekdays, with up to 3 hours per day and 5 days a week.
Mode
The course is offered through in-person classes to ensure interactive learning and practical teaching practice, preparing educators for real-world classroom settings.
Fee
The course fees are set by Kerala State Rutronix, with fee concessions available as per the guidelines. Students are required to pay examination fee to IELTS IDP when notified.

Detailed course content
Academic & General Training
Both the Modules evaluate your aptitude in Speaking, Writing, Listening, and Reading
Listening and Reading test are marked clerically, grounded on correct and incorrect answers.
Writing is marked by Task achievement/Task Response, Cohesion and Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range and Accuracy.
Speaking is measured by Fluency and Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammar and Pronunciation.
Test Result is valid for two years
A band score is awarded per subtest (SWLR)
Band score ranges from 1-9
There is no passing or failing mark
Band Scores
Band 9- Expert user
Band 8- Very good user
Band 7- Good User
Band 6- Competent user
Band 4- Limited user
Band 3 - Extremely limited user
Band 2- Intermittent user
Band 1- Non user
The exams will be conducted by IETLS IDP and the examination fees are decided by them. Students will have to pay the examination fees to them for appearing in the exam
